DCG Grid
DCG Grid is a tapeless backup and recovery service.
Once the data is backed up it is sent, via WAN links, to a secure DCG data centre and held ready for access 24 by 7. DCG Grid customers benefit from an on-site appliance which provides 3 months local on-site retention. If necessary an option is available for traditional time based data retention which provides fast access in the event of a restore requirement.
DCG Grid Backup is an SLA driven service which encompasses all aspects of backup and recovery within a client environment. As such there is a framework of responsibilities undertaken by DCG Group to ensure the service consistently exceeds the high SLA’s written into our contracts.
